1) INT. COUNCIL ESTATE STAIRWAY - DAY
LOUIS, 17, white, skates past camera. Wearing rustic, yet expensive, clothing. Focused on his skating and ensuring that he doesn’t mess up.
A mixture of tilted-mid shots, close ups, and a POV from the skateboard itself. 25 seconds.
2) EXT. URBAN STREETS - DAY
Cuts to VIVIAN and FRIEND, both 17 and black. Walking down street. VIVIAN is clearly the classier of the two as FRIEND is dressed in a full tracksuit and snapback. TWO SHOT.
FRIEND - “Nah real talk, he is buff, like fully... BUFF”
VIVIAN - “Hmmm”
FRIEND - “O yeah yeah, mans forgot you’re too flowery for a real black man like that, you and your love for those any white boys, it baffs me”
VIVIAN - “I just appreciate a decent guy when I see one, babe”
FRIEND - *Kisses teeth* “Naaaah you’re some next rude chick. I best dash, safe one”
They briefly hug
VIVIAN - “Seeya”
FRIEND - “Holla for a link init”
FRIEND leaves scene as VIVIAN continues walk to bus stop.
3) EXT. URBAN STREETS LEADING FROM ESTATE - DAY
Cuts back to LOUIS as he skates to bus stop. He arrives and VIVIAN is the only other person
VIVIAN proceeds to subtly eye up LOUIS. Over the shoulder of VIVIAN facing LOUIS
LOUIS notices and begins to quietly chuckle. MID SHOT of LOUIS.
VIVIAN looks away suddenly and both characters look severely embarrassed. Long shot.
ZOOM out to EXTREME LONG SHOT and then fade to title.
