References

We took inspiration for the costume of our female characters from the British independent
film Fish Tank, dressing them in tracksuits...

We specifically referenced the character Shaks from the movie Sket. Gina's accessorizing was largely inspired by this character.

We also drew inspiration from a similar charectar 'Naz' from the BBC Original Drama Short 'Flea' who has the tight hair high ponytail and hoop earrings look

- Clem Thompson

A stereotypical 17yr old middle class white teenager, Almost every item of clothing is quite an expensive brand which shows fashion consciousness and availability of money due to middle class background -skate brands to highlight his strong interest ins skateboarding and street wear

Accessories: Earphones in listening to music on an iPhone for age representation cigarette behind ear to show ‘indie’ boy stereotype.

Played By Louis Caldwell

References

For our male character, we based his outfit upon the skateboarding characters from the 2012 indie movie Only the young

However in order to ensure we retained the middle class British feel, we also used the style of Freddie's Character from British TV Drama skins:

Themes

- Forbidden romance and young love
- Tension between social classes
